To protect and preserve archaeological sites and their landscape setting, in particular, but not exclusively the sites known as Thornborough Henges for the benefit of the public and to promote public education in relation to such archaeological sites.
In furtherance of the above objects but not further or otherwise the Company shall have the following powers:- (a) To maintain and manage sites and to promote their archaeological significance and ensure their protection from damage or destruction through mineral extraction, agriculture or any other practices.
(b) To collaborate with local land owners, local authorities, local education authorities, colleges, schools, educational institutions and bodies, academic institutions, experts and other bodies involved in the field of archaeology, corporate bodies, firms and businesses of all kinds in the protection and preservation of the archaeological sites and their surrounding landscapes.
(c) To produce educational materials, books and other media for schools, colleges and for the general public to raise awareness and understanding of the archaeological sites and their surrounding landscapes.
(d) To encourage and support by funding and otherwise preservation and educational activities and field trips for students and the general public.
(e) To facilitate access for the public to Thornborough Henges and other archaeological sites and their surrounding landscapes.
